Chapter 2
The man known as Dusk.
“Is that all you have. You are pathetic Crow.” Dusk’s voice said as the smoke cleared. A stone orb was in the middle of the road. As the wind started to pick up speed the stone orb started to break apart. “I will show you what it takes to survive in this city.” He said while running towards Crow.
“I will show you I have what it takes.” Crow said running at him. The two caught each other’s fists after a moment the two jumped back a few feet. Both of them charged again this time they kept on exchanging blows.
“You are doing well but it ends now Crow.” Dusk said while jumping onto one of the cranes close to them. Dusk hid behind one of the support beams to block the wind from knocking him off of the crane. He then started to do a number of hand signs.
“I won’t let you get away. Thunder blade.” Crow said as his sword started to glow. He then started to run up the crane with his sword dragging behind him. Sparks danced down to the ground as he ran. “I got you” Crow said when he reached the top.
“Got ya.” Dusk said after he finished his hand signs. “Iron fist jutsu.” He said as metal from the crane formed two big fists around his hand. He pulled his arm back and punched Crow sending him flying. Dusk then ran off the crane releasing the jutsu. “Good bye.” He said while he kicked Crow down to the ground.
Crow let out a yell as he slammed into the ground making a small crater. His sight was blurred from blood that ran down his face. He tried to move but it was no use he was trapped. “I must get up.” He said to try and motivate himself to move.
Dusk walked over to Crow’s body and smiled. “I thought you would be better then this.” He said while picking him up. He walked over to the edge of the dock and tossed Crow into the water. “Have a nice swim.” He said while disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Two miles away in a large skyscraper a meeting was taking place between a number of robed men.
“Dusk did a good job don’t you think?” A man tothe far right of the room said. He sat in one of seven chairs that lined the room.
“Or that Crow guy was just one big push over.” Another robed man said. “Either way your man did show some skill.”
“Yes he did do well but the true test starts now. Will Dusk be able to finish the job next time? I do not want this organization to fall just because he decided to spare him.
“Oh no need to be frightened Dusk will finish the job next time I can that I can assure you.” The man said laughing. “And if by some chance he does fail I will finish the job, after all this is my city.” He said as a flash of lightning lit up the room.
