• princess kasumi

  Princess Kasumi, or Princess Dusk is a character created especially for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 Phantom Fortress video game for the PSP. She has the appearance with long black hair, a white kimono and a white mask with a red snake on the right side of her mask.

  Princess Kasumi's home was really attacked by Orochimaru. He tempted the princess to wear a mask, the same one Princess Dusk now wears, saying it will grant her tremendous power. But as long as her hate lingers, her mask will never come off and her spirit will be infused with the castle. Enraged by Orochimaru's deceitful tricks, Naruto goes to find Princess Dusk and tell her the truth. But words alone do not reason with her. But thanks to the help of the three other beings from the visions, Naruto and the others find the charms, the ribbon and the music box, items that meant a great deal to Princess Kasumi when she was alive. When they approached Kasumi and showed her the ribbon and charms, her mask began to crack.

  She escaped after attacking with more illusions. But while she recovered, Kabuto arrived threatening to seal her soul in a scroll unless she failed to defeat Naruto's team one more time. She ultimately fails again and Naruto shows her the music box. Her mask cracks more and she starts to regain herself. Kabuto arrives after she flees and prepares to seal her soul. Naruto chases after Kasumi knowing he is close to breaking through. When he arrives, Kabuto paralyzes him in a genjustsu. But Naruto fights his hardest and soon stands in front of Kasumi, taking the hit of the jutsu and having his vitality sealed into Kabuto's scroll. Kasumi asked why Naruto would do this and he said that she wasn't his enemy. He also mentioned it was his ninja way to protect others. Right as Kabuto plans to kill him, Gaara arrives and scares him off. Kakashi stays behind to help Naruto as the others chased Kabuto. Gaara catches Kabuto and gets the scroll back. Naruto's vitality is freed and he returns Kasumi's music box to her. It is that moment that her mask fully shatters and her real face is revealed and she joins them in destroying the castle.

  When they head for the castle top floor to finish their mission, Kabuto arrives with a illusion Tsunade, showing that Kasumi never was the one controlling the illusions in this castle. She merely channeled them as the castle absorbed vitality. Naruto and Kasumi push on ahead as everyone else stays behind to face Kabuto and the growing illusions. Naruto finds the last scroll with Kasumi's real body trapped in a crystal. But Orochimaru arrives to tell Naruto he is too late. Naruto faces Orochimaru. While he manages to defeat Orochimaru, it was revealed as an illusion. Naruto, using what little chakra he had left plus the faith from Princess Kasumi and everyone from Castle Dusk and his friends, uses a powerful Rasengan to shatter the crystal and destroy Mugenjo for good.

  After that, Naruto bids farewell to Kasumi's spirit just as the castle begins to crumble. When everything is back to normal, Tsunade sends Squad 7 on a "special" mission. When they arrive at their objective, it is revealed as a beautiful field of flowers. Kakashi explains that this field was where Castle Dusk once stood and how it was a barren wasteland until the Mugenjo was destroyed. As their mission is to discover why this happened, Naruto looks up towards the sky with a hunch and smile on his face. He believes this was Kasumi's work and her last words before fading are "Thank You...."
