- Best Main Character in a Video Game...EVER.
-
Now that's a touchy subject with most gamers and people in general. Who exactly IS the best main character out there for a Video Game series? Hmm...the the desision would be left up to someone who actually did play all the games and knew all the characters, but that takes too much time.
I've played a couple of games myself, mainly being Final Fantasy Titles, .hack titles and a few others here and there such as Star Ocean and Samurai Warriors.
My nominees for the games I've played:
Minato Arisato (Silent Protagonist/Main Character) - Persona 3
Tidus - Final Fantasy X
Haseo - .hack//GU
Kite - .hackWinner: Minato Arisato from Persona 3
The best kind of Main Character is the character who you create. He also looks kinda cool too--in an emo, suicidal way.

- Sasuke... Champ or Chump?
-
Seriously though. I like him because he's a powerhouse of a character in the Naruto series and you know he's got the skill to back up that claim.
But putting that aside, what makes most people love him besides his looks and bad boy attitude?
Or what makes people hate him, besides the fact that he betrayed Konoha? - Posted Jul 30, 2008 by Vincentre | 4 Comments | Share It
- Animazement Convention
-
I've decided that I actually want to try and go to a convention this year. Animazement is taking place not too far from home. Durham isn't a bad place to travel to, so I'll see if I can get someone to either escort me or donate to the 'Save the Gamer' foundation.
I need someone to go with really. I hate going to crowded places by myself. I'm so shy. Although I hate to admit it, I need to have someone there to keep me from spazzing out. Guess I have no choice but to ask him.
Zuko and I don't exactly have the best of relationships...However, he did say that he wanted to go.
The convention is taking place between May 23 - 25. Guess when my birthday is? May 24th! Perhaps a friendly vendor will give me a birthday present.
Who knows. It's my first convention after all.

- Fate of Itachi; the final battle against Sasuke (C
-
Oh noes. I'm sure if you're up to speed on the Weekly Shonen Jump, you know that our dearest Anti-Hero Itachi is soon to be no more. Most likely, he'll die in the next chapter from either blood or chakra loss due to Sasuke's stalling method. Basically, Itachi killed himself, am I right? Engaging Sasuke so prematurely was one thing. I know he is somewhat of a long range/backup fighter, but perhaps he took it all too lightly. Then again, Sasuke was summoning weapons left and right while Itachi was just firing whatever he wanted out there. He always seemed to have an infinite amount of Shuriken.
Along with that, he has used the three great eye techniques of the Sharingan: Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano'o. They each seem to represent the three forms of fighting, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu (or it could just be me). We all know what Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi do--Suano'o is just a phycial defense that is inpenatrable. There's no doubt that even if used seperately, those moves use much chakra and stamina.
It's safe to say that his fight is over one way or another. Sasuke has the upper hand of having the ability to move while his opponent is either dead or most likely TKO.
Whatever the outcome, Naruto's chapter 394 should clear up the matter.

‘Sup dudes and dudettes?
How are you holding up? Finding anything to keep you busy? Have you taken up playing even more video games to keep you busy from the one you truly want? The main game I’ve been playing is Valkyrie Profile and a few other ones as a way to escape the reality of my impatience. The others are Tales of the Abyss, Rogue Galaxy, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2, Final Fantasy X, and probably another one that I can’t quite remember right now. Usually when I can’t remember something it’s because I didn’t care too much about it in the first place. I’m pretty sure it’s Final Fantasy XII that I’ll end up playing soon.
In any case, I’ve been reading new manga too! Claymore is kick—butt! (Oh how this site limits me.) The main character, Clare, is pretty darn cool. ‘Girl power! Flowerz rule, tee hee!’ She, Teresa and Miria/Maria are my heroines, since male Claymores are hard to come by. I wish I could have super speed and strength. Though it’s something I would recommend regularly, there is the slight setback that it’s a bit mature—too mature for children (mainly twelve and under). There’s A LOT of blood and scenes that shouldn’t really be shown in some situations. Naruto has these moments too, but not to the extent of Claymore. Nonetheless, it’s something that teens and adults can enjoy.
Congrats to Shonen Jump for supporting yet another great manga! You too, VIZ media, for localizing it!

Did ja hear? Did ja hear? They’re actually gonna come out with FES! It’s that a shock to your system? I didn’t expect for them to actually grace America with something relatively good, but boy was I wrong. They’re giving us a remake for a game that hasn’t even been out for a year yet! Doesn’t that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside?
Atlus suddenly doesn’t seem like a mean company—unlike Square Enix! Atlus has made something and decided to give it to us. On the other hand, when ‘that-other-company’ re-creates something that sounds vaguely interesting, it’s not available to ‘we who dwell in the Western Hemisphere’.
---------------------------------------
Japan: “Hey! Look! We have Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix—and it’s got so much more content that you’ll be playing for days without end with the extra bosses and story. It’s probably going to be on the best selling list—but sorry. We’re not going to localize it…or even let it leave Japan.”
America: “…”
Japan: “We hope you understand.”
Moral: Don't expect Square Enix to do remakes.

Did ja hear whu I's did? Crisis Core was rated a measly 7.25! Say it ain't so, Game Informer! Say it ain't so!
Though through all of the gameplay bashing and possible cries for a better better replay value, it was mentioned that one should overlook the constant button mashing and stay tuned to the story. The story is supposed to be worth of a Final Fantasy title--even more so than Dirge of Cerberus (liek OMG! Total shockage!).
The second opinion also gave it a low score, even lower than the first. It was...a 7. Oh the irony of the Final Fantasy VII series getting such a low score. That's the second game in a row! Moving on, the person stated that the battles were boring since all you did was tap the 'X' button, but the graphics were stunning, saying: "Like the motion picture Advent Children, the computer generated movies knock you to the floor and smack you in the face with highly stylized crackerjack action."
Overall, I guess it's above average...or whatever you wanna call it. Now it's time for the assumtion/guess/conclusion/etc that everyone has come to realize...! It's so obvious that I don't know what I'm supposed to say to make it not
Get this guys and gals!
Crisis Core is set to release not BEFORE--not AFTER our game (Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3) but rather at the same time!
THE SAME DATE!Finale Question:
Will Final Fantasy out sell the Naruto game?
