Firmware 2.50 Now Out!

The newest firmware for the PlayStation 3 has just rolled out and is now available for download. Some of you might not be prompted to update but have no fear as you can easily head over to the Network Update icon and manually select to download the new firmware version.

In case you've forgotten, here's what v2.50 brings with it:
[*]The [BD/DVD Settings] option under [Settings] has been renamed as [Video Settings]
Also, multiple video content items can be now played in order. You can edit this option in [Video Settings] -> [Sequential Playback]
[*]A scene search feature has been added to the [Video] category. You can easily select a scene that you want to watch. This feature can be accessed from [Scene Search] in the control panel that is displayed during video playback.
[*]The [Sign Up for PlayStation Network] and [Account Management] options have been improved. You an now create and manage an account more easily.
[*]A feature has been added that allows the PS3 system or wireless controller to turn off automatically when not used for a certain period of time. You can set this feature in [Settings] -> [Power Save Settings]

And last but certainly not least is the new Flash Player 9 upgrade to the PS3's web browser. So you'll now be able to view videos off of the PS.Blog and of course any videos we post here on our site. Enjoy the update.

Firmware v5.00 Now Live!

Following the release of the PlayStation 3's firmware update the PSP has received its own update, bringing it up to v5.00 firmware. To download simply hit the Network Update icon to start downloading the update.

[*] The [PlayStaiton Network] category has been added, and [PlayStation Store] is now available under this category.
[*] PlayStation format software can now be output in interlace format on a connected device.
[*] PlayStation format software can now be output in full-screen size on a connected device.
[*] The sleep timer feature can now be used under [Music].
[*] The system will automatically change to USB mode when a USB Cable is connected.
[*] The [Original] theme has been redesigned.



Let's recap: full-screen QWERTY keyboard, auto-sleep function for music, portable PlayStation Store, and yes now you can play your games in full screen with interlace display support. That's right those T.V.'s that would not work with your PSP slim, will now actually work.

Mission 49 Naruto Holloween Warriors!!

Well I will start off by makeing Naruto in his tranformation state Kyubi One Tailed Fox then make a Mixture of the Classicle Monster known as (The Pumpkin Head)
Add 1 Pumpmkin Head to both of Naruto's Shoulders with his demon chakra covering his whole body.then for his'face I'll
cut off half of a pumpkin head and make a few holes so his fangs can come out and scarey his enemys.as for weapons I would place small Pumpkin heads on a belt where his weapons will useally be
And then he will throw them an they will explode on impact with a little scarey laugh and as for his laugh it will be really evil and scarey but with force like a deep voice.
I would put chains curled up around his legs threw his  fox tail and have the chains make a rattleing sound.
And as for the name It would be (Pumpkin head Kyubi Naruto)

160GB PS3 Bundle Announced for US & E...

	Along with the new PSP-3000 and the PS3 wireless keyboard, Sony also announced today about the 160GB PS3 model at the Leipzig Games Convention. The 160GB PS3 model will come bundled up with a Dual-Shock 3 controller and with last years PS3 exclusive, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The bundle will also come with a voucher for PAIN. But the PS3 bundle for Europe will be a little different. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's president, David Reeves, also said that their PS3 bundle will come with €70-worth of downloadable content. The PS3 bundle will be arriving on US store shelves in November for $499. Just in time for Christmas! Europe's PS3 bundle will be arriving on European store shelves on October 31st.

I saw these images over Yanko Design. The concept belongs to T3 Magazine. As you can see, the controllers were redesigned to an ergonomic and streamlined form. And yes, that headset is a controller that uses your brainwaves.

80 PS3 Confirmed for UK |/\/

80GB PS3 Confirmed for UK Posted by YautjaLanu/UchihaItachi Well, to those UK PS3 owners who are waiting for the 80GB PS3, it has been announced by E3 that the 80GB PlayStation 3 will be released in UK on August 29, 2008. There is still no word on the release date for Europe, but Europe's release date will presumably be the same as UK's release date. There are some features the 80GB model doesn't have. The 80 GB doesn't feature the memory stick card readers, SACD playback, backwards compatibility with PS2 games and Ethernet cable. It also doesn't have 4 USB ports like the 40 GB. Instead it has 2 USB ports. The 80 GB is also being bundled up with the new DualShock 3 controller, so if you're considering buying yourself a PS3, then hold out a little longer until a great deal comes out.

Chargeing for Avatar Accessories ?

In an interview with VentureBeat, Xbox Live chief John Schappert confirmed that Microsoft considers charging users for accessories to customize their avatar. When asked about these plans, Schappert replied that it may be in the future. He also said that they're thinking of launching these with great customization and a great library of accessories this fall. Microsoft might also charge for more "exotic" extras, which doesn't really surprise us. Another thing that wouldn't surprise us is if we see free accessories created to promote upcoming films, games and events.

MicoSoft points Giveing away free why ?

In case some of you guys were wondering how you received free MS points, I can gladly confirm that it's not an error. There has been rumors around the internet that some Xbox Live users have been receiving 500 MS points on their accounts unexpectedly. There has also been some confusion going on since there hasn't been an official word on this issue. Well, Microsoft seems to be handing out a gift of 500 MS points to various Xbox Live users. Apparently, if you gamers out there pre-ordered a copy of Grand theft Auto IV, you received a special offer, granting you 500 free MS points. But, it turns out that this offer had an expiry date and Xbox Live users were no longer able to redeem their points. But however, it has been confirmed that some of the users that received points didn't pre-order GTA IV and have never played it before. Even more bizarre, there has been gamers complaining that there's been points deducted from their accounts for no reason, so something needs to be done about this. Microsoft has been doing unreasonable things lately. I guess we'll just have to wait for an official announcement from them.
