So I was just told today about "Tiger Threats".


Evidently people have been using my name in threats toward one another in the forums.  Things like, "I'm going to tell TigerC10 if you don't do what I say" or "I'll tell TigerC10 right back on you".

I want you all to know that this is highly inappropriate behavior.  If you see someone breaking the rules, simply make a report and don't say anything to the person that you're reporting.  You see, by telling the people you're reporting that you're reporting them - you "feed the troll" and you just end up making the person act out more and break the rules more.  Do not act as their catalyst.

I also want you all to know that I do not always act on reports.  Some reports are made about people who aren't breaking rules (this is usually because someone is throwing a hissy fit about having been reported) - and if there aren't any rules that are being broken there's nothing I can do.  I will not punish anyone who doesn't deserve it.

Furthermore, if anyone continually uses my name to threaten people I will take action against them for harassment.  For that matter if anyone continually makes threats like, "I'm going to report you if you..." I will also take action against them for harassment.



I'll say it one last time.  Do not attempt to "scare" anyone into doing anything (even if you're trying to "scare" them into following the rules).
