The Burning Will Of Fire

Feb 17, 2009

So, evidently, people REALLY want this unoffical badge - The Burning Will Of Fire.  I'm getting lots of messages asking about how to earn it.

First, I'll explain the meaning of it.

Look at this piece of paper...
Blank Piece Of Paper

Now, give it a second look.
Dot On Piece Of Paper

The first time you looked at the paper, your eyes just glanced at the whole thing. And what about the second time you looked? Most likely you were looking at the point in the middle.

Anytime that a person's eyes gaze on a blank sheet of paper, they don't focus where to look - the eyes just wander the page.
Wandering Eyes

But if you put even a little dot on it, the mind is drawn there. You're then concentrating on a single point, and with that focus comes spiritual stability - letting you tap into unimaginable power.
Focused Eyes

When you concentrate, you draw out power. But without a target, concentration can be difficult.

Iruka passed on the tradition of the focal point leaf to Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, and Choji when they had a lack of concentration.

Sharpen your mind - By concentrating all of your energy on the leaf on your forehead, you will be able to build up your chakra. It is an ancient wisdom; by focusing on that single leaf - nothing can distract you.

He who hones his concentration is truely a great ninja! This is the origin of the leaf symbol of Konaha - The Village Hidden In The Leaves.

Of course, Naruto completely disregarded this ancient tradition/technique.

Naruto Doesn't Like Concentration

It isn't until years later that it occurs to Naruto, that even though The Focal Point Leaf technique is a boring tradition - there is a purpose to it.

By using the ancient wisdom of the founders of Konoha, Naruto adapted his use of chakra.

And in doing so, he was able to master the ultimate jutsu... Rasengan!

Rasengan!

The Focal Point Leaf represents tradition, history, and the will of fire that burns in every leaf ninja's heart.  By remembering our past, we learn from previous successes and failures.  It is the path to strength!

The members who care about what has happened in the past, the ones who help to teach new academy ninjas and genin - these are the ninja who understand what true strength is.

So from now on, The Clan Of The Hidden Orb will not just be written by me - it will be written by anyone who has something to teach.  Send me your guides or tutorials for how to use Hokage's Room - if it is something worthwhile, it will be featured in The Clan Of The Hidden Orb and you will earn the unofficial badge,
The Burning Will Of FireThe Burning Will Of Fire.  If your article is good enough, it might even earn you a spot as an elite shinobi, an invitation to The Clan Of The Hidden Orb.

There are some articles that will be featured no matter what - the locations of the hidden mission items.  You may also recieve the badge for submitting complete data regarding their locations - but DO NOT send the data until the mission is over.  If you send the data before the mission has been closed, it will not count.  If you do not send fully completed data, it will not count.  For an idea of what "complete" data is, review previous hidden item posts in The Clan Of The Hidden Orb.

The first person to send complete data about the location of hidden mission items after the mission is closed will earn the badge.

Good luck to all of you, and I look forward to recieving and reviewing your article
