Finally Beat UNS

It took me a lot longer than most of the people on this website because I have a life other than Naruto.  However, I have finally beaten the game.  The only way this could be a bad thing is if they add trophy support.  If they do, then I'll have to play through the game all over again...  Ugh.

The last mission isn't a "mission".  It's just a movie.  Go figure.




I have cleared it fully and completely.  All missions 101/101 (also the 3 additional missions in storm packs 1, 2 and 3).  I've collected all figurines, all music, and all ultimate jutsu movies.  Of course that means I've unlocked all of the characters as well as all of the extra costumes available.  The only thing left is the missions that are in the downloadable storm packs from the PSN that haven't been released yet.

I completed it at 41 hours with 295,832 ryo...  5142 objects destroyed...  And 80146 steps.

Wikipedia - How I Disdain You

There are rumors flying around the internet thanks to Wikipedia.

Someone, as a joke, put in information about Narutimate Accel getting released in the US in December of 2008.  Since then the Naruto fans have been going CRAZY with the rumor.  They invent these odd names like:

• Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles
• Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Revolution
• Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Burst

Of course now that it's November 2008 people don't believe the December release date because it's too close and Namco/Bandai Press Releases still hasn't said anything.  So now people think it's going to be February of 2009.  How did these people fall for this prank?!

GOBAMA!!!

YEAH!!!

I heard the news that Obama won it at 297 to 135.  Now it's 338 against 155.  YEAH!!!!!  Obama is winning in a LANDSLIDE victory.



First time in a long time that we've had a landslide victory, and YEAH!

Mission 51: Storm Hits the Cinematic Screen

First of all, let me introduce my chosen cast.


For the part of Naruto, I think Shia LeBeouf


And of course, Sakura should be played by Hayden Panettiere.



And Sasuke?  He should be played by Thomas Dekker.



I think Masiela Lusha would be perfect for the part of Hinata...


Aimee Garcia would be a perfect TenTen!


And Shikamaru should be played by Michael Angarano


Paul Dano could probably pull off Neji pretty well if he grew out his hair.


Choji should be played by Jonah Hill.


Allison Mack should play Ino!


Zac Efron would be a good choice for Kiba.


Michael Seater would do a good job as Shino.


And for Temari I think Summer Glau would be perfect if she went blonde.

Nicholas D'Agosto should play Kankuro.  They have the same build.


A.J. Trauth would be a good Gaara, especially with how mellow he is.


Might Guy should be played by Mario Lopez!!


And Kakashi should be played by Keanu Reeves.



Which means Jiraya must be played by Jonny Depp, no one else could get a handle on the character!


So then I would pick Jessica Alba as Tsunade!


And Nicholas Cage would be the villian, Orochimaru.

Mission 53: Gearing Up For A Storm

I'm psyched for Ultimate Ninja Storm!  Because it's being released on Election Day, I made sure to vote early to free up my day so that I can spend it on my PS3.

I paid it off completely last week, and I'm going to go around 10AM tomorrow to pick up my copy from Game Stop.  Then I'll get to spend all day rocking my PS3! 


My friends won't be back in town until this weekend, and I think we'll spend Saturday night battling each other until daybreak.  XD

Mission 47: Roam Freely

The greatest place that Naruto and friends could ever do battle is in a multi-dimensional room in the style of M.C. Escher!






How AWESOME would it be to play in a room like that?!  Plus, it wouldn't be too "out-of-the-ordinary" for them to be able to use chakra control to walk/run up and down those crazy stairs.

Tiger Threats

So I was just told today about "Tiger Threats".


Evidently people have been using my name in threats toward one another in the forums.  Things like, "I'm going to tell TigerC10 if you don't do what I say" or "I'll tell TigerC10 right back on you".

I want you all to know that this is highly inappropriate behavior.  If you see someone breaking the rules, simply make a report and don't say anything to the person that you're reporting.  You see, by telling the people you're reporting that you're reporting them - you "feed the troll" and you just end up making the person act out more and break the rules more.  Do not act as their catalyst.

I also want you all to know that I do not always act on reports.  Some reports are made about people who aren't breaking rules (this is usually because someone is throwing a hissy fit about having been reported) - and if there aren't any rules that are being broken there's nothing I can do.  I will not punish anyone who doesn't deserve it.

Furthermore, if anyone continually uses my name to threaten people I will take action against them for harassment.  For that matter if anyone continually makes threats like, "I'm going to report you if you..." I will also take action against them for harassment.



I'll say it one last time.  Do not attempt to "scare" anyone into doing anything (even if you're trying to "scare" them into following the rules).

Mission 44: Ultimate Ninja Storm

Everyone is excited about Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm!  And who can blame them?  This is the most beautiful video game based on an anime that I've ever seen.  CyberConnect 2 developed a new pixel shading engine that makes the animation look more fluid than ever before.







As you can tell, the game is going to rock out loud as far as graphics go.  But it's not just the graphics!  The game does more than just blur the lines between anime and video game - it shatters the line.

Unlike the previous incarnations of Ultimate Ninja, the battle area will be fully explorable instead of being a forced into a flat fighting space like typical fighting games.





You can explore the entire Leaf Village like never before!

And as if that weren't enough, they've improved the jutsus!  To perform jutsus in the past, you had an endless sequence of buttons to press to judge the strength - but now you can actually press enough to gain "success" in jutsu completion.  Furthermore, there's a visible meter at the bottom of the screen to show whether or not the jutsu will be strong or weak (none of this having to glance at both players completed button presses before they disappear).







And best of all, now there are two ultimate jutsus that you can perform in a battle instead of just one!

But wait!  There's more!  In Ultimate Ninja 3 you were able to summon beasts and fight against them.  But if both people summon, the summon beasts can ALSO fight it out.  Expect for some very LARGE scale battles to take place.




There's one final improvement on the battle engine that I want to touch on, and that's teaming up.  That's right, the teams help each other instead of switch out between battles.  If you're playing as Naruto and your opponent has you in a beat down and you can't get out, you can call in Sakura or Sasuke to assist and get your opponent off your back.







All of these features will make this game will be the greatest Naruto video game ever created.
