Part 2 enter the doorway

John looked around in confusion. “Where are we?” he said in disbelief.

“I don’t know” joey said.

“lets leave.” john suggested

“How” joey said a bit annoyed.

“good question” john replied. He looked around. “there. That coliseum in the distance…” john said already walking that way

“how do you know.” joey asked him.

“Just a shot in the dark” john said with a small smirk

John and joey began to walk down the steep icy mountain they appeared on.. “this isn’t good john!” joey yelled out. When john looked over joey was sliding down the ice fast, cutting up his face and chest as he slid.

“what to do?” john said. Then he looked over. “a river? Bad idea…” he grabbed a big rock and jumped into the almost frozen stream. He used the rock as surf board. He could see when he and joey would collide. Right after the river curves.

John bent his knees. Joey slid by a bit early, john missed his body! “DAM!” john kept trying and finally grabbed his hand, but was pulled off his rock. He slid down the river holding joey on his stomach. John was writhing in pain, joey wanted to help but john didn’t let him move.

After what felt like hours the got to the bottom of the mountain and the shallow stream flowed into a lake. Joey pulled john up onto his back and swam to shore. “You ok John” he asked

“yea fine…” he said as blood dripped down his back…”we made it down now we just gotta go a bit farther.”

The began walking. this better be a good place to go joey thought looking at john, who was clearly in pain.

“just gotta pass through this small village then we‘ll be there…chill out…for now…” John said quietly…”try not to get noticed…”

john and joey made it threw the village. “just over this hill right” joey asked

“yea.” when they reached the top of the hill they stopped in amazement. They was a small river, weaning there was also a big gap in the path. John stared across, “but look other people are on that side.” john didn’t realize something though, they were all looking down. A boy was being attack by the shark.

John still not noticing the attack was confused “why are they so happy?” he turned to joey, who was running at the cliff. He jumped off, when he hit the water he swam at the shark. He grabbed the sharks tail. It turned away from the small boy, but as it went to bite joey, he punched it in the face and it swam away. Joey pulled the boy onto his back.

John then jumped down towards the water, he threw a rock just to his left to make a splash, the impact of the fall was slightly lessened.

“we gotta find shore” joey yelled out.

John swam over to the rocks “HELP US” he yelled out to the people staring down. But they just ignored him, and began to throw rocks at joey and the boy. John swam over to them, and saw where joey was headed, a ladder was put up, as if to say, if you can really live after swimming in this strong current and being attacked by sharks, good job.

Joey began to climb with the small boy on his shoulders. Finally he got to the top “whoa that coliseum is even bigger up close.” john said.

“yea!” joeys agreed

John and joey began to examine the small boy, he looked pretty normal, but joey noticed something, he had small horns, coming out of his hair, but were barely visible. John also noticed something weird. The boy had 3 of johns razorblades in his pocket. “He’s a klepto!” john said laughing just a little under his breathe.
