Signage mission = Fail

Is it just me or is the Signage mission one big failure! It's only got 20 submissions while most of the other missions besides the preorder one have over 1000!!

From the start the idea of the mission was horse manure simply becuse it was based on pure and utter dump luck that some game store near you had decided to put it singage in the first place. It's something completey beyond anyone's control.

Ultimate Ninja 3 is the third game in a series on a last gen system that's past it's prime. It's no halo, mario, smash bro's, grand theft auto or some other huge smash hit success story. Sure it'll sell well but it's simply not a big enough games for most places to bother having posters and stuff up to premote it.

If it was a next gen game maybe they would, but they aren't going to be putting old stuff front and center when they have the latest greatest stuff that costs more to consentrate on first.

The plain fact of the matter is, a mission should be something anybody has a decident shot at doing, not something that's clearly nearly impossible proven by the fact that out of nearly none of the active users can do it.

To add insult to injury magazine adds get added in but we exlude Shonen Jump which is by far the most common magazine to actually find the add in. So much for giving everyone a shot at the mission when the best and practially only add on the market isn't allowed to be used.

The two biggest game magazines are Electronic gaming monthly and Gamepro. Now I have a free subscription to Electronic gaming monthly and read Gamepro from the libary. Now I haven't read the latest Gamepro but I know for a fact that EGM isn't advertising the game at all.

Finding other lesser more obscure gaming magazines can be a problme since a lot of places simply don't carry them depending on where you live. Heck I don't even know if any other magazines have an add in them in the first place and I won't know until I go by Chapter to check and they don't get much in the way of game magazines despite the fact they are the biggest magazine sellers in town.

The worst part of this is how a mission that almost nobody can do actually levels people up. If you're going to make such a limited, nearly impossible mission then it should't be a one that grants level ups simply becuse not enough people get a fair crack at it.

Their are a several people who like me work very hard for this site to premote the game, and we shouldn't lose out on chances to level up mearly to chance. It's one thing to award ryo's for the luck of the draw but leave ranking up out of that type of equation since the only thing that sould matter is effort and dedication.

Speaking of dedication, the one thign about the new ranking system that sucks is the fact that it no longer takes community particpation into acount. You could now concincably be a complete loner and never bother to post on the forums, never bother to interact and do just as well as anybody else and that's BS.

In HR1 if you did the missions but never bothered to interact with people on the fourms you'd be stuck as a Genin, unable to advance. It was a trival amount of posts, but it still took effort to gain them which showed a persons dedication.

I don't think it's fair that people who put in a lot less effort into the site are able to keep up this time around. Just about anybody could do most of the missions, but it's the people who stick around for more who are the REAL ninja.

Guess what midori you will not be only missing out on one rank, but on two rank ups because you rank up both times you too it

I really am bored of the forums and barely post on them because first on hokagesroom question their are a much of old questions and on gathering of ninjas it is filled with rps (I love rps their great, but they should have their own section) you can't get a decent post on their,
