Urg I just recently learned that the Metal gear solid essental collection dosn't included the second disk of Metal gear solid 3 directors cut which means the orginal Metal gear and Metal gear 2 aren't included in the set after all.
So it goes from being 5 games for $30 to 3 games for $30 which isn't quite as good a deal, especially since that directors cut of Metal gear solid 3 is pretty expensive on it's own on ebay.
Now I hear that you're not missing out much but not having the orginal game but I'm starting to have second thoughts about this since I've played Twin snakes a little and and kind of meh about the whole thing.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun sneaking up on people and getting stealth kills is cool but the controls leave a lot to be desired. Playing on normal mode I get messed up more becuse the controls didn't do what I wanted then becuse I myself made a mistake as I'll sneak up on someone prefectly and go to snap their neck only to throw them which causes problems. Arg
I'm also having second thoughts about selling Assasins creed as I was playing it a bit today to see what I feel about it, and * it now I kind of want to at least beat it first before I sell it, even if their isn't much to the game itself, it's still very ninja like to climb buildings like that and of course sneaking up on the guards and skanking them is fun for awhile but their really isn't much to do other then that.
Arg if only I had more money then I wouldn't have to make such hard choices, I could afford to experiment with the metal gear games AND keep Assasins creed with out fear, not to mention try plenty of other games I'm intrested in but just don't have the money (nor the time) to play.
Sometimes collage life sucks, but if it means I'll have money in the future... real money so that I'll be able to live on my own and support myself then I guess it's worth it in the long run, even if I have to miss out on a lot of things I'd like to do now.
*sigh* Time's running out as I have to decied by tommorow when I go to pick up brawl in the morning. (Weather premitting...* snow). I just hope I can figure things out and stop second guessing myself before it's too late.
