It's Over! Mission Failure?

Is anyone else as desturbed about the total lack of feedback about our progress on the link clicking mission? I mean the Hokage was very quick to let us know when we hit the first milestone so you'd think he'd have let us know by now if we'd hit the second or third one.

I hate to say it but with less then 2 weeks to go until the game itself comes out time is quickly running out and if we haven't collectively gotten at least 2000 clicks now the chances of us getting the extra 3000 we need to breach the 5000 click barrier are virtually nonexistant.

Each time we do this mega link clicking stuff people on the outside get less entuseastic about it becuse it's cultivated a "been their, done that I'm board of it now" the same way multipul missions to the moon did back in the 60's and the 70's. Do the same thing enough times in a row and people are just going to lose intrest.

You know the sad thing is that we are getting over 1000 unique quest entiers so getting 5000 link clicks should be a snap for the amount of active users we have. If each one of those 1000 people simply got 5 of their friends or aquantiences to click then we'd have met the goal in no time flat.

And of course when have several people far exceeding that goal on their own by getting anywhere from 50 to 300 or more link clicks you'd think it'd add up pretty darn fast but sadly this dosn't seem to be the case, and while the links clicking started off like a rocket at first it quickly ran out of steam and slowed down to a crawl.

Now I myself am well on my way towards my goal of providing a minimum of 1/10 of the overall link clicks (500 to be precise) But no one person can pull off the sucess of such a big mission by themselfs so we've got to band together if we're going to pull this off.

I mean don't you guys want to pull this off? We'd all benefit from it as the entire community would be granted a massive ryo boost and the reward levels would go down majorly, heck it might even effect the reward levels of hidden items we don't know about yet.

In any case if we can't meet the top goal I  will be very saddened for what it could mean for the community. After all showing strong results is prehaps the best way to insure that the Hokage room stays open to Octoboer 2008 and beyond.

So remember fokes, Failure is not an option.  My advice is to stop posting your link click thing in your blog here as that's having no effect and try outside the community since you'll have better luck that way.

Card of the day
Today's card features Kyuubi, one of the sites high rollers ryo wise and a generally cool person overall.

Well it's important to remember that the most clicks always come in the beginning of advertising.  Once the regulars on a site you go to and/or all of your friends have been told, then you link clicks will reach a peak.

Personally, I've gotten just under 300 clicks, how many have you gotten?

Keep in mind I've won third and first place in previous link sending contests so I've got a good base of clicks to base my satistics on and it seems each contest gets a little slower and slower.

Ironicly enough I think I had less clicks for the time I won first place then when I did third, simply becuse people where less intrested in clicking, and this current contest seems slower then even that so that's saying something.

Last time I counted I had about 340 link clicks but that was a couple pages back in my activity log so it's probally around 375-400 by now.

Awesome
