• Shonen Jump May 2009, Naruto's back

  It's hard to belive that the start of the Pain invasion is already offically out in English. It seems almost yesterday that part 2 of the manga started in north america and now thanks to Naruto nation 2 it's nearly caught up to the Japanese verison by being only about 2 months or so behind.

• Outrage over movie ratings

  I work as an usher at a movie theater in Ontario and as such I see many movies come and go. Lately many adults have come to see the movie watchmen and have been bringing their young children with them.
   
  As as 24 year old I watched that movie on the opening weekend so I know from first hand experince that it is far to graphically violent and graphically sexually to be suited for anyone under 16 no matter what the context. 
   
  Frankly speaking I feel morailly outraged that I can do nothing to prevent these stupid irresponsible parents from dilberatly exposing their children to such unsutible content.  
   
  If their was ever a film that deserved to be rated R it was this one, and yet you failed to this rating. Infact in my time working at the movie theather for nearly a year now I have yet to see this rating applied even once. What is the point of having a rating that exists if you are too afraid to use it when nessisary?
   
  Infact movies I have noticed a distrubing trend in general for movies to be underrated these days. For example last summer the movie Tropic thunder was given a 14a rating when it should have been 18a for the excessive amount of swearing alone let alone how violent that movie was.
   
  To make matters worse Parents are circumventing the system. When told they have to accompany their child into the movie they simply buy an extra ticket for themselfs then come out a few mintues later after going into the theater and getting a refund for themselfs once the child is seated leaving that child alone in the theater to watch a movie they shouldn't be seeing by themselfs.
   
  Something must be done about this and it needs to be done soon becuse as it stands you are failing in your job to protect children and failing spetacularly at that.  Prehaps at the very least 18a should be ammendied so that you must be at LEAST 16 to go in with an adult, no exceptions.

• Happy Saint Patrick's day

  Hey guys it's march 17th which means it's Saint Particks day! The day to wear green, drink beer (or in my case root beer) and speak with a really fake irish accent xd

  My great grandfather on my mothers side was born in Ireland, so I can safely say the "kiss me I'm irish" line xd

  Lately I feel like I have the "spring fevor" that's going around, especially in the morning I feel a distinctive lack of energy which is odd seeing as I'm not doing much of anything at all since work has been really quite during the march break so far.

  Hopefully I'll get back to normal soon. In the meantime Amazon.ca finally shipped my copy of Star Ocean: The last hope for Xbox360. Since I found a copy of Ar tonelico 2 a couple weekends ago while in the boondocks the only other game that's out right now that I'm still waiting for is Star ocean 2 for psp and my copy of Tales of Symphoina: Dawn of the new world for wii that I won from the tales brigade so hopefully those will be in soon.

• Curtian call for the brothers

  Today was a happy day for me, becuse I found out that we are Yanking the Jonas brothers movie out of my theater and putting Coraline back in 3-d. The best part was during the last showing of Jonas brothers tonight nobody showed up so I was able to pull the preverbeal plug on it and have the theater playing that movie shut down half an hour into the show.
  
  For once, the Superior movie won which is very nice to see, especially since people have been asking me for the last couple weeks why I haven't been handing them their 3-d glasses at the door when going to see Coraline.
  
  The funny thing was I was absolutely dreading the weekend that Jonas brothers movie was coming out, simply because the Hanna Montana 3-d movie was * on earth at my theater (or so I've heard).
  
  I was supposed to have that weekend off, but due to certian reasons I eneded up having to work it, and ironically that turned out to be for the best as I ended up getting interviewed for the April preshow which means I'm going to be up on the big screen, if only for a little bit.
  
  Goodbye Jonas Brothers movie, you shall not be missed. (Especially with your stupid music video still playing on the promo reel until the end of the month)
