Ultimate Ninja 3 credits

It's funny, I meant to post this in my blog a long time ago, but by the time I actually got around to taking the picture with my camera a mission involving this picture popped up so I had to hold back from publically posting the picture for various reasons.

I'd just like take a moment to thank everyone who's ever clicked on one of the link's I've placed on various message boards about Naruto and other video game forms past, present and future.

With out all those people kicking those links I never would have gotten the honor of having my user name in the manual of Ultimate ninja 3, not to mention lots of other things. I put a lot of work into putting those links up, but it would have been for nothing with out you guys.

Mission 33 declined? What the frick!

Today I come online only to see this 'nice' little message when I check to see my my latest mission submission went

Approval status:
DECLINED
Comments: This is the same exact submission from another member "Santa500". Is this a duplicate account?

Needless to say What the frick? I never told this Santa500 guy or anybody else for the matter what I submitted for that mission. But Considering who I am why would I have a duplicate account?

Let's see, I've got the highest rank at Hokage's room and the most ryo. Practically everybody who's an active memeber of the community knows me. I have every badge you can possible actually have so far and my user name is in the manual for Ultimate Ninja 3.

Never mind the fact I'm a moderator and would never cheat like that, why would I bother with a second account when I'm already so sucessfull?

I don't even live in the same bloody country as that guy. We have different shipping addresses and if the Hokage can check IP addresses he'd see those aren't the same either.

The worst part is right now it won't even let me submit the mission again!!! It's a rank up mission so you guys can see why I don't want to miss out!!!

Considering the mission requirements that the note must have the following

1) Hokage's Room URL (www.hokagesroom.com)
2) Your member name (so that they can find you here)
3) A message about NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 and its release date (June 25th)

It's unavoidable that you're going to get some similarities as their are only so many ways you can throw thought those in, especially if you're trying to have it come from a naruto character as the mission suggest.

Now I haven't seen the other guys submission but if it really is that similar to mine in wording it's probally nothing more then a mere coincidence considering my message was generic in character Naruto the most popular character in the series.

Frankly given all my hard work and dedication to this site both as a memeber and a moderator and my contiuned and unwavering support of Bandai-Namco from Naruto to .hack to the Tales of series and beyond I think that I've more then earned the benefit of the doubt here.

Attack of the pms

Hey guys do you ever find the pm system slightly annoying? Well not getting or reciving them from people but the way it's set up.

Since it automatically makes a copy of each pm you send, your inbox and sent folders can become HUGE in the blink of an eye and unlike E-mail it shows a lot less messages per screen at a time.

Heck if you let em sit their for even a few days you can have a veritable mountian of them to sort thought. I myself delete dozens of pms a day after reading and replying so just thinking about how many can be sitting on the server at any one time makes me shudder.

You'd think that each user would have a limit to how many pms they could have at any one time between each folder in total but that's not the case since at one point I literary had hundreds of pms since I simply didn't bother to clean it daily to keep it in check at the time.

Each pm might not seem like much data, but it adds up fast so be sure to clean your inbox and sent box up regularly.

Jounin

It almost seems like forever since I last leveled up to Chunnin 10 but now finally after several weeks I've ranked up once more and regained my status as Jounin alongside a couple of my friends Avery78 and Yaheard2008ep!

Of course the diffence this time around to Hokage's room r1 is that Jounin is no longer the highest rank you can go, so I've got to keep working hard so that I can reach the coveted Anbu, Sannin and finally Kage rank.

Can I do that in the 5 months remaining? You bet I can Xd At least, as long as the Hokage gives me the missions to anyhow.

As always regardless of my rank I'll be working hard to complete my missions, my moderator work and especially to contiune to bring you guys intresting info and other neat things in my blog so look foward to the future guys cause it should only be getting better from here!

*sigh* Job search contiunes

Today I got a call in the after noon from the person I was supposted to have an interview with. Turns out becuse I worked for them before they have to wait to speak to the person who was my manager at the time before doing anything else...

So becuse that person is on vacation that means they won't be able to get back to me until next week at the earlest, if not longer, making me seriously pissed off. The longer I have to wait to start working, the less amount of work I'm going to be able to get in before school starts.

After all once it's June I'll only have 13 weeks until Septemeber. And yet these places are so slow that now it's unlikely that I'll be able to start working until the second week of june if not later!

This sucks, my mom even suggested taking a part time job instead but that's no good since it won't give me anywhere near the hours and thus the money I need. She even suggested to work part time on weekends once I'm back in school thought I'm not thrilled with that idea for a number of reasons, not the least of which being that by NOT working I was able to concentrate on my studys and thus get good grades.

Once again I'm depressed. I'm just having no luck. I tried to follow up on a few other jobs but they where FILLED already and the companys where too lasy to take down the listings off the job banks.

Their is one job at the movie theater that pays really good but the problem is their is no bus route their until a new one opens in JULY! Well that and they'd expect me to work until midnight on average some nights which would make getting home difficult.

Sometimes I really wish I could drive but then again even If I could I wouldn't have a car anyhow so I'd have the same bloody problem anyhow *sigh*

I'm going crazy with out a job! And even crazyer not having spending money. I wish Namco-Bandai had a Canadian office nearby so I could apply to work there. I bet they could use a bright IT student like myself who's also good with the marketing side of things!

The big 500

Who would have thought that after all these months of being a member of the hokage's room that it would take me THIS long to reach 500 posts despite being one of the most active ninja around.

I guess it's becuse for the most part I try and make my posts matter. For me it's all about quality over quantity and that's why it took a while to build up this many posts.

Not that their is anything wrong with having 1000, 2000 or even more posts, as long as the majority of them aren't just one word spam or something akin to it.

Speaking of spam I've finding that lately I'm having to warn a lot of users against doing it and frankly it's annyoing when they don't listen to me at all. Thankfully most serious spammers either lose intrest and become inactive after a short while, or get baned becuse of other reasons, but even so it still leaves a lot to deal with some times.

Some people need to take just a little more time to read the rules becuse even a few longtime members who should know better have made a couple big gafs lately. I'm not going to name names but seriously posting scans of full chapters of the manga in your blog is against the rules and a banable offence, so please don't do it.

If it's just one page or a panel or something to prove a point that's another matter but entire chapters is defentily crossing a fine line between what is ok and what's not ok.

And would it hurt people to please stop posting tons and tons of pictures in their blogs? Seriosuly 1 or 2 is ok but having a bunch just makes the page load slowly and can also be against the rules if it puts an unreasonable load on the servers.

From now on try and use a little bit more commen sense when doing stuff around here ok guys? I'd rather not have to bring the hammer down if possible

Interview with Kuchiyose

 1. What do you think you where made a featured ninja becuse of? 

My humorous wit maybe? My responses in the forums? Contributions? naaah! HR
vets RULE! lol J/k. Idk. I'm usually not on everyday so whatever the reason was
I'm honored to be selected out of the many great ninja we have on HR. I just try
to help out and contribute the best I can...

2. What is your favorite mission you’d done, and what you did for it?
 
I don't have just one. But if I had to choose, then it would be naming the PS3
title. I put in for the name to be UN: Awakening. I was happy enough to even
have my choice for the name be in the final picks. But to think that the
member's of HR are valued enough so that we are included in the final say in
decisions about future games is incredible! We can only get bigger from here...

3. Out of all the games that the Hokage’s room features, which one is
your favorite and why?

Well as it stands, it's UN3, but I'm looking for that to change with Storm on
its way. UN3 is the most balanced of the series. It brings so many different
aspects into forming a strategy which makes for some great battles.

4.Which aspect of the Hokage’s room do you enjoy most? 

Most definitely the forums. I've had some great convos and debates there. Also
it's a great way to meet new ninja on HR and maybe a new friend.

5. Kuchiyose litearly means summoning! What made you pick out such a
distinctive and may I say neet user name?

It's my favorite jutsu period. It's the whole element of surprise it brings in
a fight. And it sounds cool in Japanese. Originally I planned on using
Summoning but Kuchiyose had a better ring to it.

6. What do you think makes for the Ultimate Ninja?

The ultimate ninja to me is one that lives by their ninja way or nindo. Be
urself and only urself. Don't change who u are. As long as u stay true to
urself then u'll always be an Ultimate Ninja.

7. Anything you’d like to say to your fans before we close?

Thanks for all the congrats on being featured member and in the past! Thanks to
Midori for conducting such a great review. Thanks to the_hokage and Namco Bandai for creating a great site.

Job Interview lined up

Finally after lots of resumes sent out and trying to follow up with various places I was able to land an interview today which is set for later next week I probally would have gotten the interview eventually anyhow but I'm glad I sped up the process some by phoning them becuse otherwise who knows how long they would have taken to get back to me.

At least this way their's a chance that I'll be able to start in early June now if I get hired. Considering it's at a fast foot restraunt where I'd be slingning coffy and running the cash register, well let's just say that chances are pretty darn good I'll get the job which means finally having money again.

Wish me luck on my interview next week! Hopefully I'll be reporting back with good news.

What's the hold on on mission 28?

I wonder why mission 28 has been up so long and yet none of the entries have been accepted at all. It's a bit unusual since I can't rememeber another time when it took more then 2 or 3 days for any of my mission entriers to get accepted and that would mostly happen on a weekend when the mission went up on friday.

Firstly becuse none of the entires have been exepteced yet, the big draw ryo prize draw for 25,000 ryo that is supposted to happen every  Wednesday until the release has been skipped over this week.  Thought it'll probally be retroactively made up for later on, or at least I hope so.

Of course what's got me partly annoyed when I'm usually very patient is the fact this is pretty much the only mission on the books that can level you up at the moment since everything else won't and I'm only 1 level up away from reaching Jounin!  And well having that shiny new 6th badge wouldn't hurt either xd.

I'm begging to wonder what we'll need all this extra ryo for that's more important then leveling up. I guess I just feel more of a sense of accomplishment when I level up then when I get 2000 ryo since that's just a drop in the bucket really.

You know I bet that this will meen really good things for the reward secetion in October. With the hokage giving us Ryo left, right and center their must be something more to spend it on later or it'd all just be a waste.

Speaking of the rewards section you guys should check it out since it just got updated today xd!
