The dream is finally coming true! Dragon Quest 4-6 Ds ARE heading to North america and I couldn't be happier. We'll see 4 in mid to late Augest and 5 and 6 should be coming out shortly after the japanse releases as Square enix trys to aim for close to world wide release dates.

The only way this could get better is if they switched Dragon quest 4's release date with Final Fantasy 4 ds (hey it DID come out first in Japan after all) and Viz or some other manga company lisenced the Dragon quest Dai's big adventrue manga for release in north america!

In honor of this tremendous occasion I shall post a banner I made for the now defunt Slimeknights, a place that was like hokage's room, only for Dragon quest games and stuff.

(I was in the top 60 members out of over 20000+  even thought I had only be active for just over a month or so before it closed. That just goes to show just how devoted to Dragon Quest I really am! Fanatic even xd)

Friends list glitch

Today I notice when I went to check my friends list that a huge chunk of it had mysteriously vanished into the ether. I guess like the missing badges and other stuff friends lists aren't immnue to the site glitches going on either. Accepting new people dosn't seem to be quite working right for me either so I guess it'll just have to stay the way it is for now since I don't want to mess with it and risk losing what's left of it to a bug.

But hey at least Clan's are working better now right?

Interview Circa604

 1. So what was it like to win the big link clicking contest and the shonen
jump subscription?

It was awesome. the night before the winner was revealed I
went to bed a little early :P.

When i woke up i ran to the computer and went on hokagesroom. I was really surprised that i won the contest and that all of us together earned more than 7000 clicks :D

 2. What is your favorite mission you’d done, and what you did for it?
 
My favorite mission would have to be the ramen one where you had to make
your on ramen and submit it on hokagesroom. I had to resubmit my pic though because it was a little edited :p 

I kinda forget what kind of ramen i made :S

3. Out of all the games that the Hokage’s room features, which one is
your favorite and why?

My favorite game would probably have to be Naruto
Ultimate Ninja Heroes. It has pretty good graphics, lots of my favorite
characters, and its just plain old fun to play.

The day I got it was actually august 30 because Zellers didn't have it till then ( I got it for a sort of late birthday present because my birthday was on august 29th.) 

4.Which aspect of the Hokage’s room do you enjoy most?

Most definitely the forums. even though i don't have much posts I still enjoy visiting them from time to time. It also helps me know some of the hokagesroom members a bit more.

5. Circa is a term that literally means about or around. Is their a reason
you chose a username with that meening or was it just a coincidence?

Well actually I chose circa because its my favorite shoe company and I thinks its a bit catchy, and for 604. Well I just thought of 3 random numbers and I came up with 604.

6. What do you think makes for the Ultimate Ninja?

The ultimate ninja would probably be someone who sticks up for others, cares for others, respects others and also helps them. They'd also be someone who wouldn't give up on accomplishing there goals.

7. Anything you’d like to say to your fans before we close?

Id just like to tell everyone to keep up there good work(especially the mods
and the Hokage) and to treat others with respect.

I know that usually a Shonen jump cover would have gone with the weekly interview on sunday but now that I'm working I've got less time and energy to find material for my blog so I've got to strech out what I do have a little to cover so that I don't end up with too many blank days

NOTE: This Mission will not level you up.

Is it just me or have we been getting a lot of these type of missions lately, the one's that don't level you up. Admittedly at least we know which one’s don’t unlike early on with Hokage’s room 2.0 but at the same time I’m starting to wonder if we’ll ever get enough missions for somebody to reach Kage the highest level possible. After all we’ve still got 3 levels of chunin left, 10 levels of Jounin, 10 levels of Anbu and 3 levels of sannin to go thought first if you’re currently at the highest level possible like myself.

That’s a whopping 27 entire missions more to go, which is more then we’ve had in the last three months since the site woke up. And of course out of the 21 missions we’ve had so far at least 4 or 5  didn’t level you up at all so that only around 16 or so in total.

It just seems like a waste to me to have so many levels if we aren’t going to use them all like with Altimitcorp were nobody got past level 27 out of like 50 before it closed down. I don’t know about you guys but I’m hungry for some more level up action so I can reclaim my status of Jounin and beyond.

Early co-op

Orgianlly my co-op wasn't supposted to start until next monday on April 28th but today at 11am I got a phone call from my boss asking me If I could start a week early since it would make it easier for them to do the paper work and my training that way.

I didn't make it in until 1:15 pm becuse I wasn't expecting to go anywhere and had to make myself decent first by having a shower and shave as well as grabbing a bite to eat so I wouldn't starve.  I would have been their sooner except for the fact that I can't drive and the bus system is very slow.

For the rest of the week my Dad will drop me off in the morning at 8am even thought my shift dosn't start until 9. It's STILL better then taking the bus up their in the morning and could save me a lot of money long term if I can avoid having to buy a bus pass ever month. But it'll all depend becuse if droping me of will make my dad late then he won't be able to do it after this week so I'm hoping it'll all work out.

So yah you might not see as much of me during the day. I'll still be checking early in the morning since I'll have a whole hour of time to blow sitting around at the campus and of course I'll be around in the evenings and weekends so I'll still be doing my dutes as a moderator with out any problems.

The jobs a bit....chaotic to say the least especially since the office is in the middle of a renovation but hopefully things will settle down soon enough. It's going to be a long 4 months ahead of me before I go back to school in the fall but hopefully they'll be fun months for the most part.

At the very least this beats working at Tim hortons or Mcdonalds any day of the week. I'm a bit disapointed at losing my only week off for all spring and summer but considering I'll make an extra $400+ out of it I can't complain too much as it'll go a long way.

The blog might not be so daily from now on, already last week their was an interuption due to my move and problems with the site but I'll try my best to stay as regular as possible to contiue bringing cool stuff to you guys!

1. So what's is it like being the latest featured memeber at Hokage's room?

It's great because I have been a member of the site since the first go round and I have seen a lot of great people featured. It's nice to be a part of the featured member group

2. What is your favorite mission you’d done, and what you did for it?

There have been a lot of great missions but one of my favorite recent missions has been the valentines mission because I made a card for my wife and was able to show it to her. 

3. Out of all the games that the Hokage’s room features, which one is your favorite and why?

UN3 because it is so much more expansive than before and all the new charcters you can play as. 

4.Which aspect of the Hokage’s room do you enjoy most? 

I enjoy the missions the most because it lets us be creative. My favorite is when we have to draw or create something. (We need another Ramen mission).

5. Your username is pretty neat! Is their a story behind it?

Avery is my middle name which I go by and 78 is the year I was born. 

6. What do you think makes for the Ultimate Ninja?

The ultimate ninja would be someone who cares about others, sticks up for others when they are right and isn't afraid to let them know when they are wrong. He or she will show respect to others.

April 19th Video game news

Good news


Dragon Quest 4 for the Ds was 99% confirmed for a north american release last night when it was given an offical rating of E10+. Now all we need is a release date



Needless to say I'll be picking this up on Day 1 release. I hope it sells well enough for them to bring over Dragon Quest 5 and 6 for the DS as well once they eventually come out.

Bad News


Someone beat Chun Lee's hand with an ugly stick. Here is her offical look so far for the upcoming Street Fighter 4!


The strangest news this week is the annocment of Mortal Combat vs DC. That's right we're going to have Scropion vs Super-man. Why is this bad? Well it's only rated T for Teen instead of M so that means they are taking out most of the blood and the fatalities. It's not really Mortal Kombat with out the extreme violance.

In a way it almost makes Yoda and Darth Vader in Soul Caliber 4 seem like good news.

In honor of finishing the first year of collage today. The test was a pain in the behind since I couldn't get the quary working right but overall I'm satisfied with how I did and I'm sure I'll get a good mark!
