You walked into the office to find Byakuran rapping his finger on the desk. Once his eyes gazed upon you, his smile grew longer. “I thought you would run away, ______-chan~.” You smiled softly as you closed the door. “I was gone for 2 minutes.” You giggled. He patted his hand on the seat next to the desk. He followed your figure as you sat in the seat. You weren’t regularly rebellious or loud. You just went with the flow. You were a transfer from the Melone base a few weeks ago.
“I-I’m the transfer from Melone Base.” You were new to this ‘huge building’ concept. The Melone base was much more simpler than a huge building like the Millefiore Base in Italy. “What’s your name?” The man with white hair just smiled at you. You were looked down. Meeting people for the first time wasn’t such a social outburst for you. “____ ____.” You stated quietly. The man chuckled. “Don’t be shy, ____-chan. You may call me Byakuran.” He kept smiling. You gave in and smiled too. “Okay…Byaku-san.”
You had long since been wondering what had happened to Byakuran’s assistant, Leonardo Lippi. You didn’t linger on it. “So, ____-chan. Have you found anything new?” He placed a marshmallow in his mouth. This reminded you that you had been missing lunch. “No. I keep getting interference.” You had a weird power. Able to see through objects that normally don’t have lenses. Like a weapon or a piece of chalk. “Hm. Now Isn’t that sad?” He smiled. You looked down. “I’m sorry.”
“____-chan~” Byakuran walked into his office, where he had left you. You didn’t respond and kept looking out the window. Byakuran was confused and walked over to you. You eyes were blank. He smiled and poked your cheek. You snapped out of it. “B-Byaku-san! I was just-” “What’s that power of yours?” You looked down. “It’s a long story actually!” You giggled and told him the strange power. It seems after that, he grew more possessive of you.
He held up a marshmallow to your face. You gulped. “You haven’t eaten yet?” He moved his hand in a direction and watched as your eyes followed. “No…You called me in before I could eat.” You blushed. He chuckled. “Show me that power of yours again. I’ll feed you.” You gulped and did as he said. Your eyes went blank and the pen on his desk shook, then stopped.
“Where is ____-chan?” Byakuran asked to his new assistant. “S-She’s filing a report, Byakuran-sama.” He answered. He tilted his head. “Call her here. I want to see her.” “B-But the report-” “Did I hesitate?” Byakuran’s eyes made the assistant quiver in fear. “Okay! I will!” You entered the room shortly after. “You wanted to see me?” You peaked your head through the door. Byakuran smiled. “I missed you, ___-chan.” You blinked in confusion. “Sit here.” He patted his hand on the seat. You nodded and sat in the chair. “Byaku-san, are you alright?” You tilted your head. He simply smiled. “I was just worried I wouldn’t see you anymore.” You let a small smile creep onto your face.
“Good girl.” He put the marshmallow into your mouth. You bit down and savored the taste of the candy. It was fluffy and powdery. You glanced down at your watch. “I have to go! I need to do some work.” You got up and was about to head out the door. You felt a hand grab your wrist. You looked back to see Byakuran with a serious look. “Don’t leave. I need you here.” You blinked. “It’ll be a few minutes. I promise. I’ll be back.” You smiled, trying to lighten his mood. His expression didn’t change as much. He stood from his desk and pulled you close to his chest. “You’re mine. And you’ll stay mine.” You quivered from his voice. It was possessive and yet soft.
“Please, Byaku-san! I have to go!” You pleaded. He just looked at you with a smile. “1 minute.” You raced out the room. It was only 20 seconds later and Byakuran was tapping his index finger on the desk. “Where is my possession?”
