• Mission 51: Storm Hits the Cinematic Screen

  This is REALLY hard.  Seems like any time an anime is made into a live action film, it gets botched royally. (anyone see the early images of the Dragon Ball movie?  yuck) I would hope they would want to keep the story as close to the anime as possible.  Nothing ruins a movie more than the creators taking liberties with the story lines.  For actors, I would probably pick Oliver James to be Sasuke. Amanda Bynes would probably make a cute Sakura.  No idea who would be good for Naruto though.  It would have to be someone young but still able to pull it off.  I think Jensen Ackles would make a great Kakashi. :)  I could also picture James Marsters as Jiraiya.

• Mission 53: Gearing Up For A Storm

  Well I don't really have any big plans for release day since I don't have a PS3 but if I did have a PS3 this is what I would do.

   

  I would make sure I had all of my big projects done so I wouldn't have any work to pull me away.  My copy would probably arrive by mail of some sort since it is usually cheaper to get games online.  I would be sure to have left overs in the fridge for dinner so I wouldn't have to make anything.  I would get the dogs walked and fed so they wouldn't bother me while I was playing the game.  Then last but not least, I would make sure my PVR was set to record all of my favorite shows because I would obviously not be watching them that night.

• Naruto Halloween Warriors

  I think Shino would be perfect to transform into the Fly.  I don't mean the lame 1958 movie version of the fly where the scientist managed to get his head onto a fly's body and vice versa.  I am talking about the 1986 still gives me queasy feelings when I think about the nasty transformations that happened Jeff Goldblum pushing his teeth out one by one David Cronenberg assault on your senses and stomach version of the movie.  Yes that was a major run on sentence but I saw this movie when I was kind of young and to this day I refuse to watch it again.  It totally wigged me out.  But back to the point of the blog entry.  Jeff Goldblum's character has a lab accident where he is infused with the dna of a house fly and slowly transforms into a giant human sized fly through out the movie. This would be the perfect transformation for Shino.  He is already kind of "one" with the insect world and transforming into a giant insect would be perfect for him.  As in the movie I think the Shino-fly would attack and defend himself by spraying gastric acid onto anyone and anything, dissolving it into a soupy mess.  He would have the ability to climb walls like a fly. Unlike the movie version, I think Shino would have to be able to fly as well  He would be a formidable opponent to face off against anyone.

• Roam Freely

  If I could pick any place for Naruto and friends to have a battle it would be some place like a museum with lots of breakable priceless things.  Not cause I want to see them break the things but because it would be fun to see them have a battle where they have to be quiet and not break things.  Like in season 1 of the show, where they had to get the bells off of Kakashi with out making a sound or being seen.  They would lose points for disturbing the peace and breaking any object in the area.  This would be a place where little quick attacks are key and things like Chidori and Rasengan would lose the battle.  It would also be pretty funny to have random back ground characters turn around and shush the ones battling if their actions got above a certain sound level.

• Blogging Up A Storm

  What I am looking forward to the most is how much the game looks like the show.  The screen shots http://www.hokagesroom.com/gallery_item/?gallery_id=126&id=11002 and http://www.hokagesroom.com/gallery_item/?gallery_id=126&id=10994 could easily just be frames from the show.  They are really well done.  Also when I watched http://www.hokagesroom.com/blog/view/the-hokages-scroll/new-trailer-for-naruto-ultimate-ninja-storm-contest/2008/08/22/ I really felt like I was watching the show and to me that makes this game a step above the others.

• My Dream Team

  I picked this team because Neji is strong and very precise with his attacks and the byakugan certainly doesn't hurt.  I picked Naruto because he is super powerful and makes for a great sweeper.  I picked Hinata because she is perfect for defense.
