My Karate school is so much slower, it will take me about 2-3 more years to get my belt...

I've been doing it for 4 years and I only have a Green belt (white -> yellow -> orange -> purple -> blue -> green -> brown -> black -> black w/ degrees)

But yeah, congrats :D

We have a promo test every 3 months or so

the awesome thing is that I am the first batch of black belts in my school

there is 13 new black belts now (a batch of 13 including me)

PS;Kiraoni don't think I am not good in championships I always get gold and a couple time best player award In my school from the kids I am one of the best

really cool. Next month I am going for my 5th Degree at Tiger Shulmans Karate. And in 2 weeks I start my Kickboxing match at New Jersey. And I am pretty excited. And congrats on your Black belt.

Only 2 years?  Wow...  These martial arts schools are really getting relaxed, because when I was involved in it, it took me 6 years just to get halfway to a 1st degree black belt.  Not saying that it's not special or anything, but it's a little surprising.

Lol, I started karate when I was 5 year olds and I did intense training. When I got to a colored belt, we had to review all of the basics from the start and had to be perfect. And the cool thing thing is that when I was taking the black belt exam, I was tested in even techniques that were black-belt level. Though it took me 8 years to get black belt, it was worth it.

we had to learn everything from white belt

I was the newest to take the belt other were ther a year or more then me, but slacked off took long breaks I went everyday and did good
