Amen, I'm Alive
I watched the news today 
They talked about a girl that ran away
She was overwhemed by work she was given
She couldn't take the yelling that was born from her lie
She ran from home to silence the voices that made her cry
Now she is no longer alive
She walked down the street with ease
Quite happy with her decision to leave
Until she decided to stay
in the what she thought was safe alley way
She slept there until she awoke with fright
Two men stared down with great delight
So now i say to myself, Amen I'm alive
This is a poem i wrote 4 a project. alot of my peers enjoyed it so i hope u do 2. im really new wit poetry n i was quite happy wit the way this one came out so y not post it here rite?

I didnt think that Id find so many good friends when I joined this site....let alone a super great boyfriend!
