hey friends, i know it's been a while, so i decided to write up a quick blog.
this past sunday, i went to the movies with a couple of friends and saw The Bourne Ultimatum. now i never bothered to see the first two bourne movies, but man i wish i did, the bourne ultimatum was great, oh my god the action sequences were so *ing awesome! i'm gonna have to watch the first two bourne movies now and pretend they're prequels or something lol. anyway if you're interested, check out "http://www.deeko.com/news/?p=3491" this great review from deeko news.
i have also registered for my classes in the fall, they are as follows:
Automotive Brake Systems
Automotive Electrical and Lighting Accessories
Health for Today
Computer Networking Essentials
they should be interesting, i still need about two more books and then i'm good to go. i just hope i don't get dropped from any of those, the school has been having some problems lately with their systems, and i've already been told that i would be dropped even though i payed for them, it's ridiculous.

in gaming news, i purchased puzzle quest for the psp last week. i was going on a vacation trip with my family, and i knew i would get bored on the ride and in the hotel room so i decided to buy a new psp game. i chose to get either the sega genesis collection or puzzle quest, obviously in the end puzzle quest was the winner and i'm very satisfied. puzzle quest is a fusion of a casual game and a hardcore game, it's like bejeweled mixed with rpg elements, i know it sounds weird, but it's very satisfying. the game play is extremely addicting, you match three like gems in a row and it gives you mana that you can use to execute magic on your enemy. if you match three skulls, then it takes away health points from your enemy, some enemies are push overs while others are a pain in the *. overall though, if you own a psp, get puzzle quest, it's fantastic!
i know there is a pc demo out there somewhere, but i can't find it at the moment.
in other gaming news, steam has launched a beta version of "https://steamcommunity.com" "The Steam Community", it's like Xbox Live, but over the pc, and it's free!
so far it's kinda buggy and slow, but it's very cool, you can join games that other friends are on with one click, you can have groups and set up events. there's even a 1up group!
i'll say this now, steam is drop kicking games for windows live in the face with this idea, i hope it's a huge success. if you don't have a steam account you can get one for free "http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=getsteamnow&cc=US".
EDIT: "http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/13803"Here's a little something that gamevideos.com put up, it's got some neat info on the steam community.
OMG my avatar was in that video, LOLZORZ!!
