Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    because maybe 1000 of the 29000+ members are the active ones. Also, nobody really wants to and it'd probably be confusing.

    A chatroom (on another site) for HR members has been made but only the RolePlayers really use it. But then again, when you RP a lot you get a lot of friends... but only if you're good... if you try to RP and totally godmod then everyone just hates you.

    People in Hokage's Room mostly talks about anything in this forum discussion, right? So they make seprate topics that would most interest members about anything they write about. So at least think about what would members like to talk about most!Wink
