Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    I especially like the lvl of envolement the administrator (hokage) has in the community in answering questions, being available and even a real account thingy..... because sometimes administrators are impersonal harsh people who only exist to be a scourge to the earth!

    For those who read my page last night, I put up a new blog entry with reference to the Hokage.  While stern, he has done and is doing his best to resolve the issues I raised.  Check out my blog entry on it, I will have to say that at least he pays attention and does what he can to help.

    And that's not even mentioning how quickly missions and review are approved/declined. I mean, I've never waited more than 1 business day to get anything approoved.
