Topic : Naruto Rise of a Ninja For the X360

Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

The game looks great. I already got a 360. I was surprised that a Naruto game was coming to the 360, I didn't think any anime related game would come to it especially in the US. I can't wait to get this game.

From what I've seen so far, this game is gonna be great. Another good reason for me to get an Xbox360.

Looks like I'm going to have a 360 game or two sitting around collecting dust before I even get a 360.

I'm probably gonna have many games sitting with dust before I get their consoles...ps3 and xbox360 I dont see coming for me yet with those prices. I do agree, we should  do something to have it put on the PS3 as well. Id personally rather buy less variable consoles, and the PS2/PS3 is probably the standard system for most of us here.

Problem I find is that the systems in question don't have the greatest track record.  360 itself is one big money pit for Microsoft (2.5 billion dollars in the hole and counting) and Sony is having a hard time selling its system at that price.  Mind you, both companies do incure a loss, dumping the product into the market (I don't have the Microsoft numbers, but Sony was intially losing 200 a unit on the 20 gig, 350 on the 60 gig).

Don't get me wrong, the 360 has some pretty good games, but I don't want to wake up one day and have my collection eaten by the stupid machine.  I used to work at EB Games, so I can tell you this, DON'T STAND YOUR SYSTEM UP.  360 doesn't has a pad between the disc and the reader so any movement from side to side will cause the game to slam into the reader, creating what we called the "Circle of Death" on the back of the game.  A real pisser when you spent 80 bucks just to have it destroyed by the system itself.  Too many people bought 360 games and didn't buy the guarantee that wient with them (3 bucks extra on a 80 dollar game, not a bad deal) and too many people came back shouting about it.

I am with you guys in saying I would like to see it on the PS3.  Hell, I would like to see most 360 games on the PS3, that way I wouldn't have to worry about losing my collection to a problem Microsoft still hasn't fixed.

You know just as well that it's a way for EB to make extra money off of people's insecurities. If your system is eating discs, they should use their warranty from the Microsoft or the game's publisher. Especially now that EB have gimped their system protection warranties to only a year at that insane price. People should just go to Best Buy or Wal-Mart... I saw two Wiis there last night.

Simple economics my friend, and NO, EB Games hasn't gimped the system warranty, they have kept it reasonable seeing that systems are more expensive now then they were last generation.   I want you to tell the people who yelled at me and my fellow workers that a game guarantee is just a scam, and tell te people who's games we replaced that we were preying on their insecrurities.  Have you seen the price tag of a PS3 with a game and extra controller?  That is tuition money my friend, not entertainment money.  The cost of replacing a system was so high that the warranty now will only replace it with a refurbed system.  EB Games lost too much money replacing 360s and couldn't keep doing it (they don't have money to burn like Microsoft, who still has to wake up and realize that they have problem).  Trust me on that one, with a 60% return rate at Bestbuy, it is no surprise that this company would go this way.  Next, have you even tried talking with the publisher on these matters?  They will say it is a hardware problem and turn you over to Microsoft, who will not give you a dime for your broken game.  People in Denmark found this out when they filed action against the company to not only admit their system was flawed, but to replace the busted games the systems already destroyed.  Microsoft did admit their system was flawed, and said they were trying to fix the problme with the Elite, but laughed at the idea of replacing broken games.  I think and few Danes would have a few things to say to you about their problems.

P.S.  Microsoft will not replace your system if all it does is eat games.  That is not a warrantee concern, it is a design problem with the system.  That is why they have begun tell people, like I did at EB Games, to keep your system FLAT.
