If any one miss the old yugioh but now they are back on saturday morning yaaaaaaaaa and GX if cool too i like jades cards and 5 D i dont really like that show it got something that i dont like about

What do think about these shows?

I like Yu-Gi-Oh and GX, but I think that 5D'S the best yet between these three

I've been re-watching the original Yu-Gi-Oh! (I'm on episode 167) I've watched up to 155 for GX (I'll have to watch the rest subbed since 4Kids are being retarded and refuse to dub the rest of it. **** you 4Kids!!!!!!!!!!! **** you!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:-( ) and I've watched up to episode 52 of 5D's. I'll watch the rest when they are released dubbed (if they are released dubbed...)

why do you always run away, Dubs4life. And I think you should rewatch Yu-Gi-Oh! and gx, but with subbed. you may find very many difference. the dubbed versions cut and just plain lame while the subbed rocks. unless, of cuz, you hates violence. Funianimation or Viz could also have done a much better work then 4kids, but nooooooooooo, it had to be 4kids (I would still watch the subbed still, so that wouldn't matter for me). it's all 4kids fault that Yu-Gi-Oh isn't so popoular. it's all that **** 4****'s fault

I've already heard/know of the differences. "You lose, you die" basically right?

But, honestly, I prefer animes dubbed. I'll only watch them subbed if the dubs are never finished or aren't completed to the final episodes (like GX, which I'll get to eventually)

No offense to you, but if you think 5D's is better than the original then you might want to go to a doctor. Sure GX was okay, but nothing can beat the original. I mean come on, doesn't everyone remember when the Movie came out and it was like the best thing ever. You can't get that kind of response from GX or 5D's.

Nothing beats the original series.  Although 4Kids did kind of take a lot of stuff out.  For example, in the Japanese version of the show Yugi would say, "I'd wager my grandfather's soul" to say that he would definitely win.  But gambling his grandfather's soul on a game of cards was thought to be too abrasive for children to watch on TV in the US so they changed it.  This is where "It's time to duel" comes from.  Similarly to how Naruto proclaims, "Dattebayo!" which doesn't really mean anything to "Believe it!" in the US.  It's a slight change, and not really noticeable.

Although, one thing to note is the second season of Yu-gi-oh.  In the second season, Pegasus took Yugi's grandfather's soul and held it for ransom.  The reason this happened is because Yugi always proclaimed "I'd wager my grandfather's soul", and Pegasus thought that was surely the means of his victory.  By taking it away, Pegasus thought he would win.  Of course, he didn't (thanks to Yami and the millenium puzzle).

5D is better than GX though.  I mean really, GX centered around a dueling academy.  Excuse me?  Suddenly a card game is so valuable that kids don't have to go to regular school anymore?  Furthermore, all of the characters in GX were so 2 dimensional.  Here it is 5D and we're getting a much better story line and progression.  It is weird that they duel while racing - but it's not like we didn't have a variant of the duel monsters game before (the original series and Dungeon Dice Monsters - anyone?).

So true, Yugioh the orignal seris had actually focused on the card game itself. But it kinda got annoying of how someones life can be taken away by a card game. But I understand that the game had descended from a ancent Egyptian stone version. But anyway, i still like 5Ds and GX for the new cards (really the Envoy cards and the Sycnro Cards)
