i know this is an old issue and i know how you all feel but i thought id mention this i was looknig at other ultimate ninja storm forums and so dar ive only checked ign and uk.gamespot and i put up new topics stating about no online tha was 2 days ago and already ive had over 120 replies and 111 of them said they werent getting the game cause of no online now if thats how many people i can find that would buy if it had online imagine how many more there is on other sites and people that arent members on any forums

altough i do fully understand where there coming from one of them (sorry cant remember name) got it just right when he said that the days of playing fighting games died ot many years ago and sure you can have freinds round but if yuo live far away that wont be often and honestly how foten would you want them round? and i agree with all that he just said but im still gonna get the gameall i can say is if they do decide to make a sequel theyd better have online cause by the end of this year alone there will be atleast 6 great fighting games with the required online

But anyway sonce im already stating problems does anyone else feel that so far PS3 game especially carry ons from PS2 o older consoles have been let downs so far from what weve seen developers have sacrificied original gameplay and ideas for better graphics we have yet to see a TRUE nex gen game, developer need to get past concentrating solely on graphics and impliment new ideas or atleast required ones like online honestly can anyone think of a good fighting game thats een releaed in say the last 4 years that doesnt have online?

people that buy games for onlines are just dumb.online isen't needed for every games and that this is the first games for ps3 so think of this as a test for a new storm with online.and if this game did have online it'll lag like crazy by seeing the gameplay and some stuff in it

gotta say i dont agree with anything you said how can you say people that only buy for online is dumb especially in fighting games they are made specially for the competition so in fighting games online s an absolute necessary especially in a so called "next gen" game and the lag issue could be sorted look at the likes of GTAIV 16 people in a gigantic city hundreds of vehicles,hundreds of advanced and different AI;s,great graphics and no lag plus DBZ has is kind asimilar to this game so if these games could have online with no lag im sure this game could do the same

i know its way too early to even think about the sequel but IF they do make one i hope they have some kind of lock where you HAVE to finish the fight ROAN was goos its set the mark for future naruto games which storm wont live up to,(but il not go into that now) but the thing that really *ed me of was people disconecting especialy in the tower of death i manage to beat 4 people and reach the final stage but people that i am beating and would be my finishign victory keep quiting until eventually sume 1 better than me comes along and beats me and theres nothing  can do

It is now the era of online gameplay, online is necessary as it provides a game with a surplus of replay value. It is especially essential to fighting games as they are already low on replay value. After you beat the game, what next? Wait for your friends to come over?  It is a major letdown for CC2 to decide not to include online play. Not buying a game because it is lacking a sufficient online mode is an extremely good reason.

well it may be the era of online but its not perfect in lag and people leaving just because they are losing but if you look at the games graphics and stuff you can tell it'll lag easy

Fans become in denial when it comes to their beloved game however,  how much a lack of a good online mode or an online mode at all can negatively hurt a next-gen game that offers more than one player is merely a fact and I'm sure there are many examples to prove it.

No you can't, lag is usually a result of a bad connection or low internet speed. Look at Resistance, I've played absolutely perfect 40 player matches and the graphics still look amazing. Whether it was poor planning or daft developers, the lack of online game play is a big mistake on CC2's part. While a large population of Japanese gamers choose to stay offline, many if not most American gamers avidly interact with others online; I suppose they forgot which country they were releasing it in first.

alright lemme just say that anyone who doesnt get a game they may like because of no online is just  could be missing out. i only heard a couple of people complain about online one of them are you

and i bet if they did have online their will be a 2-4% chance that you will find a matc. unless you set up someone to meat you in a match by whatever way maybe by computer but thats not something a lot of people will be willing to go through just to play one or two matches online for a game thats mostly of Naruto anime watching fan based not really online gamer fans. this isnt halo this isnt resistance this isnt tekken

example: i bought dbz burst limit knowing that little to no one would be online but still i gave it a chance but not for online but to see how many people are online on this kind of game "online" but i actually tried to find a match every hour or so for 2 weeks straight and i only had 5 matches. which was only in like the first 3 days after that nothing atleast i couldnt find anybody, but whats even worse is that its worldwide online so you can fight anyone in the world so i thought i was gonna be getting a good few battles from europe or a few people in the Japan or a good bit from U.S, but i only had 5. i bought it to enjoy myself and with friends and a couple of my neighbor

for a game like this or dbz the majority of people DONOT buy it for online, some not even knowing that theres online.

these games are more fan friendly so they and their friends have fights at least thats what i do(assuming you have friends)

Rokusasu, you dont know how hard it is to get the specs right for online modes trying to keep the same quality of graphics and speed lags glitches all free in a 3dbattlefield. Hey maybe those were the were the reasons to why they dont have online maybe they just didnt feel like going through all the trouble maybe, maybe they didnt have the right resources and money to make it happen who knows. Its just stupid not to enjoy a game because of "lack of online". But still  These are totally different games, fps-fully 3d anime fighting, 1stparty-3rdparty, insomniac-cyber connect2, sony-bandai, resistance-naruto.

different game different techs differnt devs(especially in #s) different resources different cost in budgets.

but if you are complaining about online then dont get it, i sure will and i know others that will and others who will come over and play with me. it just seem like people will complain about anything and later they will find out how useless and meaningless it is.

its just that no fan whos interested in this game should miss out or at least not try it because of such a reason
