It could be better
Nothing shown in the trailer shows that the series has evolved from the second game minus an expanded roster and upped graphics. Show some exiting clip of the RPG mode (no matter how shallow it it, it is a selling point), show an In Game boss summon, don't just state you can, as the ignorant may just assume it is in secret technique form only. I like that you could hear Japanese Naruto, but somewhere in the trailer it should have stated that there was a Japanese option, to entice the Japanese voice fans who hate English and may be ignorant

I agree with ryne11. If you want to make the game sound appealing than you need to show the things you can do, instead of just saying so.
I think it's a very good trailer. But I really wish that they would update the characters' list on the official website. The trailer is very american, trying to entice those who love Naruto and those who want a fighting game with tons of characters. Didn't show too much but it also didn't show enough to hook non-Naruto fans. I'd give the trailer a B- for a serious lack of content that we didn't already know about.

Getting Better and Better
This game looked very impressive with the first trailer, especially to a Nintendo console only owner. An very promising PS2 title that follows the story very well and also has amazing graphics. If it is a free walking game, that would be amazing. (by that i mean you don't just go from talking to fight to talking to fight on and on...)

either way, you look at it this game is going to be awesome. everyone who is a true naruto fan should or would. I was reading ryne11 insight but most Naruto fans I know or will come to know are not ignorant. It's just a fact that this game is going to be good. I've played the Japanese version and know all the characters. I dont wanna spoil it for you guys though. You should totally buy it and try something unique in versus mode. Sasuke's Chidori and Naruto's Rasengan could be used as a secret technique, and also as a regular jutsu (up, up + circle & down, down+ circle) =D You and your friend should use it at the same time and it will collide. Just try it. :] See what happens.

I agree with ryne11 in that they should be showing more then telling. With SO many different features in the game it should be easy to put together all of the points in one trailer but I think they were going for more punch and action with this trailer. Some of that other stuff like RPG mode and japanese language options might have just slowed down the trailer too much, wouldn't you say? They DID show summoning though but not the transition from in game fighting to summoning mode which has confused me greatly. Still, at least you DO get to summon huge creatures to fight with which is something none of the other games has tackled yet! It should be way fun!!!

I think they could have shown more characters than just Naruto and Sasuke in the whole video. The other trailer is better in my opinion. It gave you a better look at all the features and characters than this one. And the announcer guy? Well, he better not quit his day job because announcing isn't really his thing.
