NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja 4 Announced

Greetings!

As many of you may have heard, NARUTO Ultimate Ninja 4 has been announced with a release set for March! And this time, the characters have grown:

"Set two and a half years after Naruto left the Hidden Leaf Village to undergo a strict training regiment with his mentor Jiraiya, Ultimate Ninja 4: NARUTO Shippuden lets players experience this new storyline for the first time. Returning to help recover his rival Sasuke from the evil Orochimaru, Naruto is reunited with all his old friends, only to find that a mysterious organization known as Akatsuki now poses an even more ominous threat to the Village.

Ultimate Ninja 4: NARUTO Shippuden features several unique game modes that offer different experiences as players immerse themselves in the world of ninja. The new Master Mode combines role-playing and action-platforming elements, telling the story of how Naruto came to return to the Hidden Leaf Village after his training with Jiraiya; an original narrative arc that fans won’t find anywhere else. Players can collect items in this mode to unlock characters in Free Battle Mode, featuring the series’ trademark one-on-one ninja battles for one or two players. Packed with new NARUTO Shippuden characters such as Deidara, Sasori and Chiyo as well as updated versions of fan favorites such as Gaara, Kakashi and Sakura, the game features 52 total playable characters to take into battle.

“Ultimate Ninja 4: NARUTO Shippuden will be the first video game based on the NARUTO Shippuden animated series in North America, giving players their first look at how Naruto’s world has changed in the two and a half years since he left his friends to refine his ninja training,” said Todd Thorson, director of marketing and public relations with NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. “Featuring the biggest roster of playable characters ever in the Ultimate Ninja franchise and a variety of new and engaging game modes, it’s everything Naruto fans need to immerse themselves in the characters and storyline of NARUTO Shippuden.”

not to be a non naruto fan. but it would be wise to either wait for the second sequal or wait till its put up for grabs on hokagesroom. the game is good don't get me wrong but you guys have to admit that the second one is a whoole lot better. i'm still happy that its coming out though. i told evryone that ps2 wasn't dead a while back.

Ahh, finally the Hokages Room is back up! It's nice to see so many people who already commented! I doubt that I'll buy this game though. If it comes out for the PS3, I'll know that I can wait until Naruto Ultimate Ninja Accel 2 or whatever comes out for PS3. I have a 40 GB PS3 so I can't play any of my old PS2 games any more cuz I sold the PS2 for the money to buy the PS3, but anyway, I may or may not be interested in this. Personally I hope they make a sequel to Storm with all the Shippuden characters. That I would buy, no doubt.

Hey, I think the whole Ultimate Ninja Series will be going on the PS2, while the whole Ultimate Ninja Storm Series will be on the PS3, while the whole Ultimate Ninja Heroes Series will be on the PSP. PlayStation must have a contract with that. But still, UN4 is going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My knowledge of naruto and naruto shippuden is unrivaled. I'm here to state several facts so that no one will be confused.

1) this game is on the ps2

2)this game features 52 characters, true, but this number is mostly made up from the old characters from natuimetto hero 3

3)this game will notbe on the ps3 or the psp, despite what people may tell you.Trust me on this.

4)all akatsuki members are not in this game. I've heard too many people saying "oh, I'm gonna play as all of the akatsuki!" and it's really starting to bug me.the only akatsuki members in this game are:

Deidara , Sasori (in Hiruko), Kisame , and Itachi.

5) and on a side note, there are only two naruto games for the psp. none of the shippuden games are for that system.

Now, with that said, 4 the rest of us who've been waiting it's finally a reality!! Though it would be sweet if the the sequel ships this year too; but, that would be asking for 2 much. In the meantime I'm already counting the days till it arrives at my local GameStop. Pre-Order NUN4- Mission Complete Already reserved my copy so I'll just play NUN3 a lot more. I'm so stoked on playing it, I can't wait to release the Nine Tailed Demon Fox chakra on UN3 characters like Hinabi Hyuga! or (Gaara) in Shukaku form vs. Timeskip Rock Lee It's a promise!

it seems to be an okay game from what i've seen from the trailer...but i mean COME ON guys! i like the ultimate ninja series i even bought some of them but i kinda think it's time to let the old ninja go...i mean KILL HIM like what they should have done to sonic about SIX! games ago and for those of us that watch and/or read naruto we probably know it's gonna either stop at the bridge where naruto fights orochimaru or the "SAVE GAARA/ CHIYO" saga and besides the games are getting too complicated they shoulda just left it on ps3 and called it "ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 2: NARUTO SHIPPUDEN" which makes sense because what if they decide to make ANOTHER storm game

hey I've bought most all of ultimate ninja series already up to storm I wouldn't mine play it on the ps2 as storm 2 I wait as long as I'm still breathin there nothin to complain about I'm collectin em all and playin all baby psp, ps2, an ps3 they all hear loud clear ALL MINE HICKI! "left it on the ps3"? Dude, first of all, storm was an an exclusive for the ps3. It had the ultimate ninja *le, true, but it is merely a side game. It doesn't count in the numbers, otherwise they would've called it "Ultimate ninja 4:storm" or some crap like that. Narutimetto akuseru was originally on the ps2. Trust me, they're not gonna take a last gen game and completely remake it on a current gen system. There's no sense in it. Besides, it's already been confirmed, Ultimate ninja 4: naruto shippuden will be released on th ps2 ONLY.

Confirmed date? Ha. It's constantly changing and if you look on the official website, no definite day in the month of march has been set. True, gamestop.com says it'll be released 3/24/09, but it said it would be released 2/17/09 just a few weeks ago. I'm waiting for the DEFINITE and OFFICIAL information.

i never went on game stop but since that now i got 4 websites that say march 24 and to be honest what makes you think they will push it back again they did it last time because of a error with the game and we both know they are not gonna make it the next month and really theres no need to push it because all we are doing is making our voices over theres and making copys
