NAMCO BANDAI Games Wants to Thank You!

I have some great news straight from NAMCO BANDAI Games for all Hokage's Room members. The folks that bring you the best NARUTO games want to thank you. If you pick up a copy of NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja 3 and flip to the back of the manual, expect to see a special note of thanks to all Hokage's Room members in the "Special Thanks" section. How cool is that?

But I, being the Hokage and all, was not happy with just that, so Hokage's Room will be having a special contest where three members of this community will be singled out for outstanding service to the NARUTO cause. That's right, your name could be one of three individually thanked by NAMCO BANDAI Games!

This contest will run from Feb 01 - Feb 12. After thinking long and hard about how to pick the three members, we've decided to pick each one based on one of these three accomplishments:

1. A special Mission will go up on February 01 that asks you to share with us why you think you're the ultimate ninja on Hokage's Room and why you deserve some thanks. We know you've been working hard for the NARUTO cause, so share with us! Not only will you earn some ryo, but the best entry will earn a place in the NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja 3 manual. The mission expires Feb 12.
2. The Hokage's Room member that recruits the most new ninja from Feb 01 - Feb 12 will also earn a special thanks from NAMCO BANDAI Games. (To make it fair for all, webmasters cannot win this one.) When you're off recruiting, make sure to use your own special link, found in the Invite a Friend area of this site.
3. We're going to have a VERY special and exclusive link in the Send a Link area of Hokage's Room and we need you to spread the word. So the top link sender (of any link) from Feb 01 - Feb 12 will also get his/her name in the manual.

(Note: If you're declared a winner, you will need to confirm that you'd like your username published in the booklet BY FEB 15! If you do not respond by this date, your name won't be put in!)

There you have it. A NAMCO BANDAI Games thanks to all member of Hokage's Room AND the opportunity for three members to get their names in the history books. All of this begins on Feb 01, so make sure to check it out before your chance runs out!

The Naruto Craze Has Just Begun!

By now many of you have probably already seen some changes to the site… more specifically, all the different new levels (and new colors!) that you can check out in the FAQs section.

Many of you have been speculating as to what these new levels and ranks within each level can mean. Have no fear, I am here to explain.

If you go to the FAQs, you will get a glimpse into all the different new levels (and hopefully have them appear on your profile as time goes on!). EVERYONE starts from the ground level. What does this mean? You will all start as an Academy Ninja despite the level you have reached in the past because all levels will be reset. Yes, I know, this is a shock but have no worries, you will quickly rise up if you remember to work hard on each Mission, recruit your friends and family, contribute insightful Naruto thoughts on the forums and your blogs, and have fun!

So now that you are an Academy Ninja, how do you move up along the different levels and ranks within each level? It’s not as hard as it sounds, here is the breakdown:

• for each Mission that you complete, you will rank up once
• if you complete two Missions in one day, you will only level up once the next day then level up again the day after. This means that you will NOT be able to level up two times in one day.
• leveling up will be done automatically at the end of each day and I, the Hokage, have nothing to do with leveling up each individual. Complete the Missions among other activities in Hokage’s Room and you will level up.

 

Now that you’ve had your first session as an Academy Ninja, go check out the first Ninja Quiz HERE and see how well you have been paying attention as well as earn ryo.

Do you hear what I hear?

It's the sounds and rumblings of Hokage's Room getting ready to awaken once more! As we get ready to go full speed ahead starting February 01, you'll be noticing some changes here and there. I'll put up a full blog post on the 1st that explains all the new stuff that's in store for Hokage's Room.

From now until then, though, we ask to keep patient, as some things may seem out of whack at times. XD

Are you excited!? We sure are!

Make Hokage's Room Your Browser Homepage!

Wow, where did the past few months go? Believe it or not, February 01 is almost here, and that means that Hokage's Room will step out of hibernation and return with activities, chances to earn more ryo, and the release of new Rewards! NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja 3 is coming! Three cheers and a bowl of ramen for the next phase of Hokage's Room!

With all that will be happening soon, you'll want to make Hokage's Room your homepage on your browser so you can check up on all the cool new stuff. Members of the community have been kind enough to type up a quick tutorial on how to make it your homepage, so make sure to check it out! 

Here's a copy-and-paste for your convenience:

For Internet Explorer go to:
Tools > Internet Options
Should have "home page" listed right there.

For Firefox:
Tools > Options > Main
Should have "home page" listed there.

For Opera:
Tools > Preferences
Should have "home page listed there.
